Easter: FRSC sets up 3 mobile courts, deploys 300 officers in Kwara

Ilorin — Ahead of the Easter celebration, the FRSC in Kwara, yesterday, said it had deployed 300 personnel and set up three mobile courts.
The Sector Commander, Mrs. Mary Wakawa, told the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, in Ilorin that the personnel were already in the 16 council areas.

Wakawa also said the courts were located in each of the three senatorial districts of the state to try erring motorists during the period.
According to the Sector Commander, 10 operational vehicles and ambulances have also been provided.

She added that four rescue centres were already in place in Ilorin, Offa, Jebba-Ogbomosho road as well as Omu-Aran- Eruku Road,
Wakawa said the command was collaborating with the Kwara Traffic Management Agency, the police, NSCDC and the State Security Service to ensure an accident-free celebration.

She warned motorists against drunk driving, excessive speed and over-loading while directing members of the public to dial 122, 08077690801 or 08077690548 in case of emergency
