I’ll leave solid institutional framework – Oshiomhole

BY SIMON  EBEGBULEM

BENIN—GOVERNOR Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State, weekend, vowed to leave solid institutional framework that will sustain good governance and development in the state even after his tenure as governor.

Oshiomhole, at a reception organised in honour of the immediate past Secretary to the State Government,  Dr. Simon Imuekemhe, by Etsako Citizens Club, in Benin City, expressed appreciation for the support he had received so far from the people of the state and assured that he would not relent in his development projects.

Represented by the state Head of Service, Princess Ine Ekhiowa, he said: “You are one of those that made it possible for us to have 18 over 18 in the governorship election. I also thank you for the support through the court cases that were decided recently. I need your support so that in the next four years, Edo State will be at its best and we shall all say, we came, we saw and we conquered.”

Speaking to newsmen after he was honoured as an outstanding Etsako son, Imuekemhe, who commended the club for the honour, said Oshiomhole’s developmental stride was unquantifiable, describing him as a “material needed for our national reform.”
