LAGOS — CONVENER of the Save Nigeria Group, SNG, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Sunday, slammed the leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, for allegedly failing to criticise the Federal Government over the deploring state of the nation.

Bakare  who spoke in a state of the nation address at the Latter Rain Assembly church, in Lagos, also lampooned the Federal Government for  taking on a former Minister of Education, Mrs. Oby Ezekwesili over her recent outbursts that government mismanaged $67billion.

He said: “I have read most publications in Nigeria in the last week and I am yet to come across a word spoken by leaders of CAN on the weighty issues Dr. Ezekwesili raised on how the prodigal sons have run the country bankrupt.”
