It was alleged that the fire was caused by bush burning outside the complex.
Speaking with newsmen on the incident, the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS) to Governor Amosun, Shuaib Salisu, thanked God that the fire was contained by the timely intervention of fire fighters.
He added that the incident was as a result of the bush being burnt near the Governor’s Office.
The DCS, accompanied by the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Amosun on Media, Funmi Wakama, hinted that men of the Fire Service had been put on red alert in case of any emergency as the fire was still burning outside the fence.
