Super Eagles forward, Emmanuel Emenike scored a brace for Spartak Moscow in a European Champions League match against Scottish Champions, Celtic at the Olympic Stadium, Moscow yesterday
The match started with the home side dominating but it was the visitors that also paraded Super Eagles defender, Efe Ambrose that took the lead in the 12th minute through Gary Hooper.
Just before halftime, Emenike beat the Celtic defence to rifle home a cross from team mate, Ari to end first half 1-1
Barely three minutes into the second half, Emenike scored as he scrambled home a pin point pass from D. de Zeeuw. Incidentally, the striker escaped his compatriot in the heart of Celtic defence, Efe Ambrose before driving home the ball.
The game changed in the 63rd minute when Juan Insaurralde got the marching order from referee Chapron. Celtic equalised through substitute Combarov and Samaras finished the job with a powerful header in stoppage time to give Celtic a hard faught 3-2 win, their first European Champions League away victory.
