In the past, most Nigerians frowned at the idea of having a tattoo, because it was used for identification of  both human and animals.  But now, local exposure  through the media has made people  to it as an addition to beauty rather than seeing it as a satanic and ocultic display.

Majority of our music and movie entertainers have taken to it as a way of displaying their beauty not minding the controversy that follows.
