Commuters have been reported stuck for hours, Friday, in an ongoing massive traffic gridlock on Apapa-Oshodi Expressway.
The traffic gridlock was caused by an accident involving a tanker suspected to be carrying fuel at 2nd Rainbow Bus stop. Reports say fire fighters are at the scene to prevent the tanker from bursting into flames.
Meanwhile , the traffic situation on the road is said to be chaotic, as trucks, buses and cars are stuck, with hundreds of stranded commuters trekking to their different destinations.

It would be recalled that motorists on the expressway often experience hardship due to deplorable condition of the road, worsened by flooding and indiscriminate parking and sometimes, accidents involving heavy duty trucks and tankers.
