Jos – Immediate past Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jos, Professor Sonni Tyoden, has been commended for uplifting the institution, now rated second best in the country.
Speakers at a reception/welcome back in honour of the former Vice-Chancellor by the Faculty of Social Sciences praised him for the growth recorded by the institution.
Speaking, new Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor Hayward Mafuyai, noted that Tyoden’s tenure witnessed unique developments brought about by “his policies in information communication and technology (ICT), gender policy, research and development, etc. promising to follow his footsteps to take the institution to higher heights.”
