We’ll reinstate sacked Ogun workers – Olurin

BY KOLADE LAREWAJU

ABEOKUTA – OGUN State Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Adetunji Olurin,  yesterday, said that civil servants being forced to support the aspiration of  Governor Olugbenga Daniel’s  protege, Mr. Gboyega Isiaka would be protected.

Describing the  attempt to arm-twist the civil servants as disheatening, to say the least, in a statement  by his Deputy, Mr. Tunde Oladunjoye, Chief Olurin said “Information available to us indicates that permanent secretaries and other cadre of civil servants are being coerced to campaign for Isiaka and attend the rallies of the Peoples Party of Nigeria,PPN.

“Just yesterday,  about seven civil servants, under the aegis of National Union of Local Government Workers, NULGE, were purportedly sacked ostensibly for not declaring their support for Isiaka by attending his rallies.

“The Olurin Campaign Organisation wants to salute the civil servants who have stood their ground and maintained their neutrality as stipulated in their code of conduct.
