Ponchos cashew hits market

PONCHOS brand of  roasted cashew nut has made its entry into the market, courtesy of Caraway Foods.
Speaking at the launch of the product in Lagos, Caraway spokesperson, Premender Sethi, said the product is packed with nutrients that help prevents diseases.

“The cashew is extracted in Nigeria and the manual processing facility is in Ilorin . Each kernel is painstakingly cut, peeled and graded by hand and is improved upon and well packaged with high quality sachet for value and easy handling for nutritional values and prepared under hygenic condition.”

He noted that roasted cashews are not meant for rich people but it is a nutritional foods meant for of families especially children for optimum growth and high intellect and that the company is poised to constantly research into the products, its quality as well as the consumption of the products, adding that snacking is an integral part of the Nigerian consumer’s diet which needs to be nurtured with high nutrients.

He disclosed that the product is manufactured and processed at Pan Africa Agri Limited, Lagos an affiliate of Caraway Foods International Limited, one of the leading sales and distribution companies with leader brands such as Tasty Tom Tomato Paste and Vedan seasoning.

Some distributors as well as consumers at the launch confirm the tasty nature and the packaging of the products which they say will last for a long time. They also advised the company to make the products available in all the nooks and cranny of the country.
