Uduaghan gets commendation

UIGHELLI—VICE Chairman of Patani local government council, Delta State, Comrade Elijah Ologe, has commended Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan for his various development and empowerment programmes in the state.
Ologe, who fielded questions from newsmen in Ughelli, Delta State, yesterday, said youths of the state, particularly the unemployed ones have witnessed tremendous empowerment since Dr. Uduaghan assumed office in 2007.
He said a large number of youths was empowered through the state Micro Credit Programme and noted that the state agricultural programme has also increased the fortunes of farmers in the state.
Urging youths of the state to sustain the prevailing peace being witnessed by Deltans, he told Deltans to take advantage of the various empowerment programme to develop themselves.
Ologe appealed to contractors in the state to execute jobs awarded to them thoroughly, adding the state government was determined to redeem the state from the shackles of under- development.
He enjoined the people of the state not to relent in their support for Governor Uduaghan’s administration.
