All in a bid to inspire the youths of the state and country in general to rebrand themselves. According to Mr Charles O’Tudor, MD of Adstrat Brand Management company and the initiator of the programme, the initiative seeks to encourage individuals to rise to their full potentials in all facets of their life endeavours. “BRANDSARISE is targeted at creating an awareness of youths becoming strong, formidable, and positive brands that extol values such as integrity, honour, enterprise, and patriotism. It Is about translating an unknown brand into a successful brand.â€
He speaks on the rationale behind the BRANDS ARISE  “The rise of the concept of branding and brand management in the past two decades has led to a proliferation, imitation and duplication in the industry, More than ever, there is a high need for a brand to continue to differentiate itself to stay ahead of the highly competitive game. However, one neglected aspect of branding is the individual brand. A crucial aspect of nation building is branding the individuals that constitute that nation. A strong nation is essentially a conglomerate of strong human brands, thus the initiative †he said.
The event was spiced with a fashion show by House of Jola’ and musical performances by Ruggedman, Inyanya Mbuk and the Chord group.
Highlight of the programme was the presentation of a N500,00 cheque to POWER, (the poverty alleviation project of the First Lady of Cross Rivers State) from the proceeds of the 1st Brands Arise seminar, presented by Mr O’Tudor on behalf of Adstrat.
