The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has redeployed some of its Comptrollers in a bid to meet the challenges of the Service in terms trade facilitation and revenue target handed to it by the federalgovernment.
The National Public Relations Officer of NCS, Mr Wale Adeniyi said at the weekend that four Comptrollers were affected in a recent redeployment approved by the Comptroller General, Adeniyi gave the names of those involved as Comptroller Gabriel Aliu, who had been asked to move from Post-Clearance Audit (PCA) to Seme command while Comptroller Sam Aneke would also move from Seme Command to Ports and Terminal Multi-Services Ltd. (PTML).
The Customs spokesman said that Comptroller Austin Warikoru who was in charge of PTML command before the new posting, is now to move from there to Port Harcourt Area 1 Command to replace Comptroller Daniel Ugo. The former Port Harcourt Area 1 Command boss is expected to proceed to Post_Clearance Audit.
Comptroller Akinade Adewuyi is to move from Zonal Headquarters, Port Harcourt to Ogun Command while the present Comptroller of Ogun Command, B. Kane is resuming in the Comptroller-General office.According to Adeniyi, all new postings take immediate effect.
