Our electoral commission was in the news most of last week for all kinds of reasons. It was the week the name of the new electoral umpire was presented to the Council of States and subsequently to the nation. Regional positions that had lapsed were also filled with fresh names. It was also the week some election tribunals delivered landmark judgements in the South-South.

He touts a particular knowledge of staphylococcus and expertise in improving watery sperms and weak erections. He will suggest his bag contains cures for every known disease. He will jump off the bus but not before he is done . He tells tales like the ‘zoo’ story, playing on the vulnerabilities of an impoverished and ignorant society.
Marital communication
While going through my archive, I found out that I made a promise since December 1, 2013, to write on communication in marriage on this column. A promise is a debt and it is better paid late than never fulfilled, so here we go. By now every married person or persons preparing for marriage ought to know that good and effective communication is an essenco (essenco means essential commodity, for the younger ones who were not born or were very young in the early 80s) to the success of every marriage.
Ogun residents, investors groan under bad roads
Except Ogun State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun comes to the aide of both the residents and business owners in the state, they would continue to groan over the bad roads that litter the State. Vanguard gathered that, the governor had boasted to make the State an eldorado by fixing most of the roads in the state, but, the cash crunch bedeviling the State crippled the plan.

The supposedly civilized invaders from God’s Own Country (the United States) and Europe were not only disinterested in Iraqi lives, but also failed to protect historical sites like the famous museum built in Abraham’s claimed homestead.
