From Russia with love (2)
Some attribute this cruel but recurring phenomenon to nerves, burnout, inferiority complex, inadequate preparation, inexperience, unpaid allowances … there’s a whole host of reasons why that green and white vest continues to flap futilely in the wake of the overachievers (usually several meters ahead).
ASCEND poised for active participation in politics
An Igbo adage says that when birds fly without perching, one will shot without aiming.
Mismanaging relationships
WATCHING the PDP fall apart is like watching a car crash in slow motion. At the time of writing, 26 senators and 57 House of Representatives members have decided to defect to the “New PDP” splinter group that was formed last weekend and is headed by Alhajis Atiku Abubakar and Abubakar Kawu Baraje.

Behind closed doors
By Yetunde Arebi HI Sometimes last year, a story brokeout in Lagos social circle of how an unsuspecting wife intercepted a sms message from her friend to her husband. On face value you may readily ask, “and so what?” But the story was not that simple. The women involved were very close friends and had […]
PDP’s stormy tea cup
WHEN the Nigerian Governors Forum, NGF, election politics was raging and some commentators said Their Excellencies were wasting time on an irrelevant issue that had no bearing on the average Nigerian, I laughed.
