No, not another strike action

As I prepared to write this column, a 14-year-old boy, or thereabout, was being featured on a news programme of a national television. He had his mother by his bedside at the National Hospital, Abuja, where he is undergoing treatment. His eyes were bloodshot as he faced the camera, telling Nigerians of his ailment.

I can imagine your disappointment last week after the ruling of the Supreme Court declaring your election null and void.

Four out of six justices nullified an election in which 10.6 million or 54 percent voted for you as their choice, each Justice assuming the equivalent or more of 2.6 million Kenyan votes. This can only make sense in the maths of jurisprudence. But all hope is not lost.

THE  2017 Kenyan Presidential Elections were massively rigged right under the noses of International Election Monitors and Observers, and they consciously or unconsciously, whole heartedly endorsed the fraud. In fact,  within forty eight hours of the elections, the  head of the European Union Delegation, Marietje Schaake, a 38-year old Dutch politician  was lecturing opposition leader Raila Odinga on how to be sportsmanly and accept defeat: “The electoral process is still ongoing. It is a sign of leadership to be able to congratulate your opponent with grace.”
