The Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria,MMPN, has lauded the election of Hajiya Sekinah Lawal as the new Chairperson of National Association of Women Journalists,NAWOJ, Lagos chapter. Hajj: Ogun urges intending pilgrims to uphold tenets of Islam
Dr Ishaq Yusuf, Chairman, Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board, on Thursday advised intending pilgrims to 2016 hajj to uphold the tenets of lslam as they prepare themselves for the holy pilgrimage to Mecca and Madinah. Yusuf gave the advice during a seminar held at the Central Mosque, Kobiti in Abeokuta.
Airline assures Jigawa pilgrims of prompt airlift via Dutse airport
THe management of Max Air has assured all intending pilgrims for this year’s hajj exercise from Jigawa state that all night flights will land and take off from Dutse Airport. As against what obtained in the past where all night operations were diverted to Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, flights will now land and take off from Dutse airport, Jigawa State. Max Air served as the major air carrier for Jigawa State pilgrims during last year’s hajj operation but had to divert all night flights to Kano international airport.
