Why did Major Danjuma and his murderous band of soldiers humiliate, physically assault and kill Ironsi based on the unsubstantiated allegation that he was either complicit in theJanuary 15 coup or was unwilling to deal with Nzeogwu and his group because an overwhelming percentage of the prominent coup plotters were Igbo? What exactly was the role of Lieutenant-Colonel Gowon, Ironsi’s chief of army staff, in the revanchist coup?

A terrible and aggravating scene once again played out this past week in Tulsa, Oklahoma where another black man, Terrence Crutcher, was shot and killed by a white police officer, Betty Shelby.

IT’S no longer news that he average woman could be as dangerous a predator as her male counterpart. Men have always used dirty tricks to get women into bed against their will. So when a women, wanting a bit-on-the-side from a man she fancies, uses all her wiles to get him, why can’t he take it in his stride and ‘chop and wipe mouth’ without complaining the ploy was Jezebel’s?

Let’s begin this edition of Joyful Homes on a different note. Especially since we ended last week’s note with the assurance that every yoke can be broken with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

It marvels me when I see people so anxious, so much in a hurry that queuing up is am stumbling block for them. They are quite comfortable jumping the queue regardless of who is looking at them. But why the rush! It is a matter of waiting in line for your turn.
