Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka said the inability of the supporters of the Labour Party, LP, otherwise known as Obidients, has now become their badge of honour.

FORMER Labour Party Deputy National Chairman, Callistus Okafor, has issued a stern warning that the ongoing crisis in the party involving the Chairman, Julius Abure, could negatively impact the chances of Peter Obi at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal.

The candidate of the Young Progressives Party, YPP in the 2019 presidential election, Kingsley Moghalu has backed Nobel laureate, Prof Wole Soyinka over his comment on the pronouncement of the vice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Datti Baba-Ahmed on the Supreme Court regarding the 2023 general elections. 

Labor Party Presidential Campaign Council, LP-PCC, yesterday, accused the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, of a well-calculated and orchestrated campaign of calumny to discredit and delegitimise Mr Peter Obi, the presidential candidate, to compel him to abandon his right to seek redress in court, following the outcome of the last election which was adjudged both locally and internationally to have failed to meet any standard of credibility or fairness.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has condemned the attack on him by pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, for stating Federal Government’s position on the 2023 elections.
