Lagos state Government yesterday said no fewer than 3,120 intending pilgrims from the state will be airlifted to the holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia for this year’s Haji pilgrimage.

Muslims from different parts of the world have been heading towards Makkah for the observance of Hajj rites. While in Makkah, a visitor is expected to observe proper etiquette with the city.

The Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Commission on Wednesday says that it has secured 80 per cent of visas for 3, 249 intending pilgrims for the 2013 Hajj.
