Etsu Nupe raps on religious tolerance

The Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar has charged government and individuals to place emphasis on building places of learning and worships, adding that, the country more than ever before needs institutions of moral and spiritual rebirth. The paramount ruler stated this while commissioning the Isa Kutepa Mosque and Quranic School built by Alhaji Razaq Kutepa and donated to the Muslim community in Lokoja, Kogi State Capital.

The Amir, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at in Nigeria, Dr Mashuud Fasola has called for a special night congregational prayers (Tahajud) for the smooth and peaceful transfer of power on May 29th to a new government. Dr Mashuud Fasola , a development Economist and former lecturer at the University of Lagos while leading a Friday (Jumah ) service at the Jama’at headquarters in Lagos said the special prayers was aimed at beseeching Allah for peaceful transition.

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, the only God Who has no partner.
