Alhaji AbdulRauf highlighted the significant presence of NASFAT in various UK cities, including Dartford, Millwall, Thamesmead, Woolwich, Barking & Dagenham, Grays Thurrock, Milton Keynes, Manchester, and Newcastle. He expressed NASFAT’s readiness to work closely with the new administration to enhance community relations and support initiatives that benefit both Muslims and the wider society.

As the return leg has entered its 21st day, today July 12, over 40,000 Nigerian pilgrims have returned home.

Abubakar said that the governor allowed the management to run the agency throughout the pilgrimage, adding that “the last batch of pilgrims who returned were 56 and they came onboard Max Air, most of them officials.”

“We are committed to promoting religious tolerance and understanding through our sensitization programs. By collaborating with local councils and the government, we aim to empower our members and foster a community spirit that aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).”

“Just like fasting during the month of Ramadan and observing our daily prayers, Zakat payment is also compulsory for Muslims. It is for us as Muslims not to abdicate our responsibility but understand that we need to share with the poor and needy in our midst from what Allah has blessed us with.”
