*As Emirs laud Ahmadi Peace-Building Initiatives
The Elders Group of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat of Nigeria, Majlis Ansarullah, will hold its 48th annual Islamic conference Ijtema on Friday 23rd to 25th at the indoor sports hall; package B, Mashood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The theme of the conference is “Making Living Worthwhile For All: Islamic Solutions to Economic and Security Challenges.”
Special lectures will be delivered by Professor Saheed Timehin, of the Lagos state University, LASU and other Muslim scholars.

Ahead of the conference, the Elders group organised a two day free medical services, Orphanage Home, courtesy visits to the Emirs of Abachi, Bwari, and top government officials.
The free medical services were given to Peoples With Disabilities and the entire Community Karonmajiji village off airport road, Abuja as part of the humanitarian services of the people, covering blood pressure, fasting blood sugar, Eye-services, general medical consultation, and health talk .
The opening ceremony attended by Professor Saad Ahmed, Chief medical Director, Federal Medical Center, Abuja who represented the Minister of Health, Dr. Pate.
Meanwhile, The Ona of Abaji and Chairman of the Council of Chiefs, Abuja, Alh. (Dr.) Adamu Baba Yunusa, and Emir of Bwari and Hakimi of Karon Magiji, have lauded the Majlis Ansarullah Ahmadiyya Nigeria for their unwavering commitment to peace and humanitarian efforts.
The Royal Highnesses expressed their admiration when he received the National President (Sadr) of the organization, Alh. Dauda Abiola Raji, and his delegation at their palaces ahead of the 48th annual Itjema, Islamic conference in Abuja.
During the visits, Head of the elders group, ( Sadr). Alhaji Dauda Raji extended his gratitude to the traditional rulers for the warm reception and introduced the organization, highlighting its annual convention, which includes impactful activities such as orphanage visits, courtesy calls, and medical outreach programs. He explained that the convention, which rotates annually across different regions of the country, is a key part of the organization’s mission to promote peace and he organization’s mission to promote peace and service to humanity.
Alh. Raji also presented the traditional rulers with literature on the teachings of Islam, emphasizing the global peace efforts led by the head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad. He spoke about the Ahmadiyya’s dedication to educating people about Islam’s principles of peace, justice, and equity, and how these values are shared through speeches, books, and messages to world leaders.
In response, specifically, the Ona of Abaji , His Royal Highness Alh. Adamu Baba Yunusa praised the Ahmadiyya organization for its significant contributions to global peace and societal progress. He commended their humanitarian initiatives and expressed his pleasure in meeting the delegation. The Ona congratulated the organization on its annual convention and wished them continued success.
The Ona emphasized that goodness begets goodness and encouraged the Ahmadiyya community to continue their noble efforts in serving humanity and spreading the true message of Islam.
