Again, Ekiti tops NECO results, retains first position

Efforts by the Ayodele Fayose-led administration in Ekiti State to reposition the education sector have again yielded positive results as the state retained her first position in the National Examinations Council secondary leaving examinations conducted by the body for 2017.

Power sector stinks — Labour

ORGANISED Labour is alarmed by the huge public funds spent on the nation’s power since 1999, with little or nothing to show for it, besides power outages and crazy bills compounded by crass inefficiency. While recent reports claim that more than N11trillion has been spent between 1999 and now, experts are of the opinion that the funds expended on the sector in the last 18 years, is far more than N11trillion.

Strike: NANS vows to shut down major federal roads next week if

APPARENTLY bothered by  the industrial action rocking the education sector, leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has vowed to shut down all major federal express roads next week if no resumption date is fixed.
