ABUJA – Efiko Management Consulting has boosted the Nigerian pension sector with an Initiative to enhance productivity and professionalism at the
Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate, PTAD.
The Efiko’s Managing Consultant and Chief Executive Officer, Omagbitse Barrow, in a remark, said his organisation came up with an initiative designed to strengthen alignment between PTAD’s strategic priorities, operational systems, and long-term performance goals.
Barrow said: “Organisations today require more than strategic plans. They need systems, structures, and capabilities that support consistent execution and measurable outcomes.”
Similarly, the company delivered specialised training programmes for the Business Development and Client Coverage teams of Stanbic IBTC Pensions, focusing on salient issues, including enhancing customer engagement, strategic relationship management, and overall performance effectiveness to support business growth in an increasingly competitive market.
Also, a capability-building workshop was organised by Efiko for professional staff of Premium Pension Limited, bringing together participants across multiple levels of the organisation, basically to improve workplace effectiveness, productivity, and professional impact.
According to him (Barrow), Efiko remains committed to supporting the growth and transformation of Nigeria’s pension industry through practical interventions that combine strategy execution, leadership development, and organisational effectiveness.
“The pension industry plays a critical role in national development and financial security. We are proud to continue contributing to the sector through initiatives that strengthen leadership, capability, and performance”, he said.
Meanwhile, according to him, Efiko has worked extensively across the industry over the years, supporting organisations such as PENOP, PenCom, Access ARM Pensions, VG Pensions, Oak Pensions, Trustfund Pensions, Norrenberger PFA, NLPC PFA, and several other pension operators in translating strategy into measurable results.
Beyond its client engagements, Efiko recently hosted the April edition of its flagship Champions of Performance networking programme, attracting participants from across Nigeria, the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean.
The session, with the theme ‘Culture Beyond Values Statements’, explored practical and evidence-based approaches to transforming organizational vision, mission, and values into observable workplace behaviours that drive business performance.
Participants examined common challenges organisations face in embedding culture beyond slogans while discussing leadership practices and systems that reinforce desired behaviours.
Efiko noted that the Champions of Performance initiative forms part of its Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programme, designed to equip professionals in human resources, strategy, transformation, and organisational development with practical tools and frameworks for improving organisational performance.
Held free of charge every third Saturday of the month, the programme continues to attract professionals from diverse sectors seeking structured, evidence-based approaches to strategy execution, performance improvement, and organisational transformation.
The firm recently facilitated a strategic planning session for the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD), bringing together executives and senior leaders to develop the organisation’s strategic roadmap for the 2026–2030 period.
