The Founder of Isi Benedicta Institute, IBI, Apostle Isi Igenegba, has emphasised the importance of spiritual education, saying Christians must constantly update their spiritual knowledge, as things are happening fast in the spiritual realm that the unknowledgeable will find difficult to understand.
She stated this in Lagos during the Go School 2026 graduation ceremony held for participants drawn from across the globe.
The participants were drawn from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Liberia, Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria among others.
“God told me to turn ashes to beauty in 2020 at a crisis point and that I should teach others. It is all about spiritual education and we are being educated for eternal life. The Holy Spirit is our Dean, the Provost is our Lord Jesus who will judge us in the end. The gospel is not a low level intellectual property. It requires evaluation and process,” she stated.
On how far the initiative has gone, she noted that she is enjoying the adventure of obedient to God’s instructions.
The IBI boss charged the graduating students not to rest on their oars and that they should follow the stages of life until they get to the peak.
“In life, be ready to start as a dreamer, then move to the next stage of becoming a dream interpreter. From their, you become a dream maker and then eventually you become the dream that some other people would hope to become,” she stated.
The keynote speaker, Pastor Nigel Cookey-Gam, said he has known Igenegba for decades and could see that she is driven by the urge to make Christians become real disciples of the Lord Jesus.
He also advised the graduating students to continue to have pliable and teachable spirit to learn and make God their compass in life.
The Dean, Sandrah Namwaya, noted that over 6,000 people have benefitted from the programmes of the institute in all the continents of the world.
Testifying to how they have been touched by the programmes of the institute, Nekaycha Cani from the United States and Camilla from Trinidad and Tobago, described the course as exceptional, awesome and a fulfilment of dream.
They added that it has opened their minds to have clarity about what God is asking them to do.
