The National Association of Nigerian Students in Diaspora (NANSD) has congratulated the newly deployed Nigerian Ambassadors and High Commissioners following the approval of their postings by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement signed by its President, Comrade Juwon Fayomi made available to Vanguard on Saturday, the association described the appointments as a step toward strengthening Nigeria’s diplomatic presence across the world.

The group said the move reflects a commitment by the Federal Government to advance Nigeria’s interests internationally and deepen relations with partner nations.

The statement read in part, “The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students in Diaspora (NANSD), under the guidance of its President, Comrade Juwon Fayomi, warmly congratulates the newly deployed Nigerian Ambassadors and High Commissioners following the recent approval of their postings by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“We commend the Federal Government for taking this important step in strengthening Nigeria’s diplomatic presence across the world. The appointments reflect a renewed commitment to advancing Nigeria’s interests internationally and fostering stronger relationships with partner nations.”

The association also acknowledged the administration’s policy direction and its focus on international engagement.

“The National Association of Nigerian Students in Diaspora particularly appreciates the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu under the Renewed Hope Agenda, which continues to demonstrate dedication to good governance, international cooperation, and the promotion of Nigeria’s global image,” the statement added.

The association president added that Nigerian students abroad look forward to engaging with the new diplomatic missions to promote educational collaboration and improve the welfare of Nigerians studying outside the country.
