Edo State Government has raised alarm over the circulation of a fictitious document containing details of purported political appointments by Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s administration, urging people of the state to disregard the document because it was concocted and falsified to cause ethnic and social tension in the state.

Tension has gripped Ekiti state, as armed policemen from Abuja last night invaded the State to arrest Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, leaders, top government officials and 11 members of the State House of Assembly with the allegation of stockpiling arms during the June 21, 2014 governorship election.

Lagos—A 76-year-old man, John Orimogunje, who allegedly presented himself as a land speculator and obtained the sum of N8 million from two women, was yesterday arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court in Lagos.

A Lagos State High Court sitting in Igbosere has adjourned till April 7, to hear the N800 million suit slammed against popular Lagos cleric, Paul Adefarasin and his church, House on the Rock by a businessman, Gerald Chukwueke.
