Shareholders remove Goodie Ibru from board of Ikeja Hotel
Shareholders of Ikeja Hotels Plc, yesterday at a court ordered Extra Ordinary General Meeting, EGM unanimously removed Mr. Goodie Ibru as Chairman and as a director of the company.
The shareholders also appointed KPMG firm of Auditors to carry out forensic audit of the company.

Reinsurance broker Willis Re said that January 2015 reinsurance renewals, the key market renewal for much of the globe, natural catastrophe reinsurance rates have continued to decline. The brokers renewals report, Willis Re 1st View states that catastrophe reinsurance rates have declined by around 10% for the renewals.

UNIBEN ASUU, students protest demolition of varsity’s property by Edo govt
BENIN-Members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, UNIBEN chapter and students of the university, protested on the streets of Benin, yesterday, condemning the demolition by the Edo State Government on Monday, of property given to UNIBEN by the government of Dr Samuel Ogbemudia, including the official residence of the immediate past Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Osayuki Oshodin.
