Lagos bemoans N7.22trn real estate ‘locked assets’

LAGOS—The Lagos State government, yesterday, said at least $45.13 billion (about N7.22 trillion) of the real estate assets were not covered by the state legal framework, making it a kind of locked asset, saying it was undermining the business activities in the state.

Court orders Police to pay N1.5m for unlawful detention

AN Okitipupa High Court, in Ondo State, yesterday, ordered the Ondo State Police Command to pay N500,000 each to three chiefs for their unlawful detention.

The Chiefs who are from Irele include, High Chief Olamigoke Bamidele, the Ojagbaletemi of Irele; High Chief Busayo Adeyeye and Chief Eniola Monehin.
