IPMAN canvasses gradual, phased removal of oil subsidy

THE Independent Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) is canvassing for a gradual but phased removal of oil subsidy rather than outright removal as been proposed by the Federal Government. The IPMAN Chairman in Akwa Ibom, Mr Victor Etefia disclosed the association’s position in an interview in Uyo on Sunday. Etefia said that gradual withdrawal would help to cushion the effect of the removal when eventually it was removed.
