PEESIDENT Bola Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Nigeria and the world as they observe Eid-el-Kabir, using the occasion to reiterate the administration’s commitment to national renewal and security.

The Ohaji Patriotic Forum (OPF) has appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor Hope Uzodinma, and the Imo State APC leadership to intervene in concerns surrounding the APC House of Representatives ticket for the Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency in Imo State.

“It is both ironic and tragic that a government under whose watch nearly 35 million Nigerians are now projected to face acute food insecurity in 2026 would accuse the opposition of lacking ideas or vision.”

“How many governors are as lucky as me? Well, my brother, Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, will claim to be luckier. But we, in Osun State, count ourselves lucky and privileged to have one of our illustrious sons and fathers at the helm of affairs of Nigeria,” the governor noted.

Ododo emphasised that supporting Tinubu is gratitude and strategy – “Mr President’s re-election is a reward for his love for the state”

He said the party has 109,806 digitally registered members, out of which 100,880 were accredited for the exercise.

The Chief of Staff to the President, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila, says members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other Nigerians want President Bola Tinubu to continue in office in 2027.

“This is politics, grassroots politics, where every member of the party has a right to participate and be involved. It is to ensure internal democracy, and it is peaceful and well-organised,” Tinubu said.

Barely months after complying with the directive, some former ministers who resigned to pursue political ambitions are already counting losses after failing to secure party tickets in the primaries conducted by the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 elections.

“When we decided to form the APC, while I was a minister, President Tinubu was claiming he made Buhari president, and I couldn’t respond because I was a minister under President Buhari,” he said.

“I commend the bravery, resilience, and dedication displayed by operatives of the NDLEA throughout this mission.

“The results we see today speak to the resilience, commitment and adaptability of our workforce,” the president said.
