AHEAD of Saturday’s local government elections in Ondo State, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has withdrawn from participating.

The political crisis rocking the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers state has taken a dramatic twist following the judgement of Justice Stephen Jumbo of the Rivers State High Court, restraining Mr Chukwuemeka, an ally of the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike and his executive from parading as Chairman of the State chapter of the party.

“These acts of violence and harassment are deliberate distractions meant to make us take our eyes off the ball,” he said.
