LAST Sunday, all 11 Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the National Working Committee, NWC members of the party converged at Asaba, the Delta State capital undoubtedly to strategize on how to reclaim power from the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC at the Federal level.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared that none of its established organs is permitted to align with any particular presidential aspirant ahead of the 2019 general elections, saying its platform is open to all Nigerians to aspire to various elective offices in the land.

Despite the fact that former President Ibrahim Babangida has denied an initial statement where he said to have asked President Muhammadu Buhari not to seek re-election in 2019 the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the counsel by former military Head of State as timely and another confirmation that Nigerians have agreed that the President and the All Progressives Congress, APC, have failed the test of leadership.
