The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the South-West has described the news of the defection of former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore and former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as funny and laughable, saying “that will be the first time politicians in Nigeria will be decamping from APC to APC.”

AMIDST growing speculations that former President Goodluck Jonathan might dump the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, the latter has squashed all conjectures by reaffirming his loyalty to the PDP, declaring that he is still a member of the PDP, describing the party “as a friend that carries people along.”
