Barrister Julius Abure, has threatened to unleash the full weight of the law on those instigating the formation of parallel structures within the Labour Party (LP).

The crisis rocking the Labour Party (LP) resurfaced with the Senator Nanedi Usman-led Caretaker Committee insisting on prosecuting Comrade Julius Abure and some of the party’s national officers for perjury, forgery and criminal conspiracy.

The State Executive Council  (SEC) of the Labour Party, LP, on Saturday suspended 30 of their members for three months over plot to remove the state chairman of the party, Calistus Ihejiagwa.   

The Labour Party (LP) has accused Valentine Ozigbo, the 2021 Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), whom it described as “a nominal member of the LP,” of betrayal and making a serious attempt to demarket the LP.
