Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Senator Aisha Alhassan, also known as Mama Taraba, has resigned from President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet and from the ruling All Progressives Congress.

THERE was a mild drama at the All Progressives Congress, APC national secretariat during the screening for House of Representative aspirants from Delta State as the file for one of the hopefuls, Revd. Francis Waive mysteriously went missing.

An opportunity of an informal meeting with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, recently in Abuja, in company with some politician friends was quite instructive. The intellectual engagement that ensued illuminated the ideas of the comrade chairman about the party’s governance model that will soon become a reality. 

No fewer than 29 states will on Sunday take part in the governorship primary election of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC to pick gubernatorial candidates for the next general elections.

ABUJA: The All Progressives Congress APC earlier last week revised its timetable for the conduct of its primaries but not a few stakeholders believe that the conduct of the exercises could either make or mar the party depending on how they are conducted.
