Ahead of the inauguration of the ninth National Assembly on June 11, Senator representing Kano South Senatorial District, Kabiru Gaya has called on the leadership of the All Progressives Congress APC to concede the position of the Deputy President of the Senate to the Northwest which gave the party about six million votes.

Following Tuesday’s directive by the All Progressives Congress, APC to its aggrieved members to feel free to join the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP; the major opposition party has counselled the ruling party to deal with its own demons rather than dragging it into its internal affairs.

The ruling All Progressives Congress APC Tuesday in Abuja asked any of its aggrieved members who no longer feel comfortable with its style of operations and political engagements to feel free to exit and join the opposition Peoples Democratic Party PDP.
