FAITH is central to our lives as Christians. It is the means by which we are saved and sustained in the Christian walk. These were the words of Rev. Felix Meduoye, the General Overseer of Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria recently.

Peace is the essence of human existence. It is the beauty of life and the only channel through which human beings can live in harmony. It is the principle of mutual co-existence. Without peace there will be no harmony and without harmony the-re will be no develop-ment. The world cannot even exist without peace.

Many people want to take care of themselves and want to do their own wish instead of allowing God who created them, who is protecting them, guiding them, providing for them to direct their lives.

Our lifestyle in this world is very important because it has a lot to do in our journey in life. If you are praying and your lifestyle is not meaningful before God that means you are just talking and not pray-ing.

I Am convinced that weak prayers, wrong prayers is one reason the Nigerian and African Church is not making much spiritual difference. Church learns must pray, seek the Lord and be an intercessor for their people.

Indeed, we know that nearly every marriage sometimes can go through the period of delusion, but when it goes beyond the state of hope of survival, such can be replaced by sadness, hurt and despair. “Feeling hopeless is contagious”. It is contagious because it can be transmitted to the ignorant generation yet unborn.

We tend to pay more attention to irrelevant things and thereby neglect the  important values. Our Lord Jesus Christ told religious leaders of his time, “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint…, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith” (Matthew 23:23) . Justice, mercy and faith are indeed the essence of our religion. They are indispen-sable principles.
