I never thought I would live to see the day that Sahara Reporters would publish a story alleging, together with supporting documents, that a person reputed to be one of its benefactors, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, the under performing Governor of Kaduna state, has been systematically engaging in acts of corruption by way of awarding over invoices contracts to his fronts, family, friends and cronies, without passing these contracts through the due process of tendering and public advertising.
