THE latest outburst by General Muhammadu Buhari, presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), if anything, has cemented the well founded concern that the former military strongman is too unstable to be president of Nigeria. Buhari let go his emotion, which was a doomsday wish for the nation, as is his nature, during a rally of the APC in Kaduna last week.

IN eight days time, we will vote to decide who leads us for the next four years, and that decision may choose which way we head to as a nation; whether we will continue to grow, or slip into confusion that may consume the nation. Thank God, for the Shift in date for who knows where we would have been by now, with our level of unpreparedness, in spite of the deception by the elections umpire!

Couple of days ago, one of the national newspapers published what it headlined: S’South Got Lion’s Share Of PTF Projects Under Buhari, struggling as it were to give an account of the stewardship of former head of state and Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, retired General Muhammadu Buhari in his four years as Chairman of the defunct Petroleum (Special) Trust Fund.

ON March 6, the Supreme Court put paid to the ambition of Timepre Silva to upturn the democratic process which saw Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson succeed him as governor in 2012. Sylva had sought to set aside an earlier judgement by the same apex court on his quest to be recognised as the candidate of the PDP vide the primary election of 2012.
