The crisis of misgovernance in the country has been accentuated by the official impunity of members of the ruling class.  Hence, the executive is justifying disobedience of court orders while legislators regularly suspend their colleagues and carry out impeachment of Governors outside the ambit of the Constitution.    Even though it has been decided by the Court of Appeal that a legislative house lacks the power to suspend a legislator both chambers of the national assembly and state legislative houses have continued to suspend members who disagree with their colleagues. 

Following the forthcoming 2019 election, many personalities have thronged into politics to declare their unflinching and questionable desire to vie for various positions.

So much has been said about the difficult start to the 21st African Senior Athletics Championships holding in Asaba, Nigeria. In the main, the glitch was about the mix up in the provision of connecting flights for some country delegations to the host city.

The grand old politician did the needful by listening to advice by family members and, most especially, to his heart and body in reaching the decision.
