Tears of pain filled my eyes as I looked through the window and saw well-dressed little school boys and girls in Nursery and Primary Schools singing the Nigeria National Anthem. I stood attention quickly with gusto as I heard them echo, “Arise O compatriots!”

I waited this long before weighing in on the Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano’s contrived face-off with the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo, because I thought the story was a classic case of fake news. Obiano was alleged to have called Nwodo an idiot.

When Tegbe showed interest in the race for Oyo top seat, not many gave him a chance in an environment already crowded. However, with the competence of his team, and the commitment of his supporters aided by the talk of him being the preferred one, the name and his message, often referred to as TEGBElization spread like wildfire.

The worst thing that will happen to this nation in the forth coming elections is to allow unserious politicians to continue to preside over the affairs of Nigeria
