P&ID debacle: Malami should start prosecuting himself first – Reno Omokri

My attention has been drawn to statements credited to General Muhammadu Buhari’s newly retained Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Mr. Abubakar Malami (SAN), wherein the said minister blamed the embarrassing fiasco, that is, the $8.9 billion judgment debt on the preceding Jonathan administration.

Ekweremadu and the IPOB mob

IT was shocking that the immediate past deputy Senate president, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, representing Enugu West in the Nigerian upper chamber, and who stood stoutly behind the Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra in the hey days leading to their proscription, was attacked in far-away Germany by a mob comprising IPOB members.

I CALL it the Nuremberg madness. I solemnly consider it as grotesquely outlandish. It defies all manner of ratiocination and rationalisations. I had read a number of opinions that tended to either draw some bizarre corollary upon which a general warning was issued to other Igbo leaders and leaders of other ethnic nationalities to beware or that tended to justify the wanton assault in the context of the festering socio-political and economic ferment in Nigeria.
