IT was a night of celebration of creativity, excellence, originality or what one can describe as the birth of a new dawn for art in the coal city, as the art community again witnessed the presentation of prizes to the winners of 2018 edition of Life in My City Art Festival, LIMCAF one of the most consistent art competitions in the country for Nigerian youths, held last Saturday in the Enugu State capital, Enugu .

NIGERIA is blessed with all the human and natural resources that if well managed will be among the best in the world. But, one unfortunate thing is that instead of utilising the resources, she is rated as a poverty capital.

AS the LIMCAF 2018 Grand Finale pproaches, there are indications that this year’s edition will witness a convergence of who is who in the art industry as veteran artists, art partrons, collectors, diplomats, prominent personalities other didnitaries have indicated interest to be at the  final.

THE mutually beneficial relationship between Ofala and Globacom was ignited one bright summer day in August, 2011, when the revered monarch of Onitsha Kingdom, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha, gave the nod that telecommunications outfit, Globacom, should be the official sponsor of the oldest and most colourful festival in the East of the Niger, the Ofala Onitsha Festival.

Patrick Diabuah and Gloria Anozie-Young will join other exceptional actors to light up the stage at the prestigious Agip Recital Hall of MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos, to commemorate the ongoing 22nd edition of MUSON Festival 2018 on Saturday, October 27.
