THE office of the president of any country is not a post people get at easily, especially a country like Nigeria, the giant of Africa, little wonder many do all sorts of things in order to be there.

NIGERIA’s master print maker and greatest experimental artist, Bruce Onobrakpeya is 83. And as part of activities held to celebrate the renowned and well-documented icon, a group exhibition opened at the prestigious Princess Theresa Iyase-Odozi’s GreenHouse Art Empowerment Centre in Olambe, Ogun State.

The 2015 Badagry festival which started on 25th August came to a dramatic end with a cultural extravaganza, spectacles, African magic and award of prizes on Saturday, the 29th of August.

It wasn’t just an Evening with Wole Soyinka. It was a delectable evening, one that assembled heavy weights in the literary and entertainment industries, the academics and other eminent Nigerians as well as Brazilians who came to celebrate with the Noble Laureate.

The current wind of change blowing across African recorded a major boost in the art sector as one of her contemporary artists, George Edozie took part in a historic exhibition at The Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) with a resounding success.
