‘I regret snatching my friend’s husband’ — Reader

By Bunmi Sofola A Reader wrote:  I have followed your columns way back from your Punch days when I was in the university.  Most of the times, your articles are so down-to-earth they speak to me – as if you are writing about me.  In one of the editions of Sunday Vanguard a few months back, […]

How exciting is a spouse who stopped drinking?

Until recently, Jibola, a 39-year-old accountant was the life and soul of most parties he attended. He would think nothing of polishing off a bottle or two of red wine, then follow it up with whatever booze was available.

My hubby’s love-making irritates me

My problem is my husband. Before we got married, he was very descent and a gentleman. Since we got married, however, he has turned into what can best be described as an animal. He likes to have sexual intercourse in unusual and perverted ways. Although we have a comfortable bed, he likes to lay me on a hard floor. He asked me to suck him. I want to please him in this, but the thing is so large, it always makes me choky. I never asked him to do anything abnormal so why has he turned into someone I now fear?

Help I’m pregnant for my best friend’s brother

A few months ago, my best friend’s brother paid a visit to one of the top managers in the office I worked for. He didn’t know I worked there and was actually glad to see me.
He offered me lunch and we had a lovely time. When he asked where I stayed, I told him. I thought he was just being polite but you can imagine how surprised I was when I saw him at my doorsteps a few days later. He said he was in the neighbourhood to see a friend.

Why women don’t want sex

After my two-part article on why women have sex, I received several messages from readers who were interested in knowing quite the opposite, why women don’t want to have sex. One guy said if it was true that women have sex for all the reasons mentioned, then, they have enough reasons to have sex almost every day. Another wanted to know why once married, most women lose interest in sex and all they do is find excuses for their lack of interest. He went on to postulate that if women gave enough sex to their husbands, then they would be less tempted to cheat on them. I told him I did not totally agree with that position

Neighbours want to destroy our relationship

What’s most offensive to me is if we make a noise above a whisper while talking or making love, we hear the neighbours react by sarcastically making sex noises and laughing next door. This feels like a big invasion of privacy. It’s making me self-conscious to make a peep during intimacy.Do you have any suggestions?
