FG set to remove disparity between graduates of polys, varsities

One of the budgetary proposals for 2010 which was submitted to the National Assembly by the Federal Ministry of Education, FME, is the request for financial backing for the policy already put in place by the Federal Government as regards the removal of disparity between the graduates of the nation’s polytechnics and universities.

A policeman’s rage

NOTHING can justify the actions of mobile policeman, Raymond Egbongbonwuyi, who invaded the children’s ward of an Ibadan hospital, on November 25, beat up medical personnel, pulled off drips being administered on five children, and tear-gassed the ward. He was on this rampage for two hours before police from a nearby police station arrested him.

It’s prayer time with air safety in mind

FOUR years ago, the popular televangelist and Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Bimbo Odukoya died at the prime age of 45 when a Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 she boarded in Abuja crashed in Port Harcourt. The air crash also claimed the lives of 75 pupils, among others. That was on December 10, 2005.
