Hon. Friday Itulah is the member representing Esan South East and Esan North East Federal Constituency of Edo State in the House of Representatives. In this interview, he explains how the former chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Tony Anenih used his position to get the Federal Government to resolve the water crisis in Esanland. For Emmanuel Onyeigwe, a commercial bus driver, plying Ilasamaja and Mushin roads have become a nightmares. Due to the menace of street urchins, Onyeigwe left his former route- Lawanson, Odo-Eran, Ojuelegba and Yaba areas of Lagos for Mushin.

It was really a scintillating occasion as sons and daughters of Epe, Lagos state, trooped out recently to pay homage to HRM Oba Shefiu Olatunji Adewale, Bangbopa Esilokun 1, the Olu-Epe of Epe Kingdom. For the Oba, it was meant to be a low-key event to prepare ground for the forthcoming Kayo-Kayo, another festival known with Epe community but the people immersed in celebration of a popular and amiable traditional leader, they put aside every other thing to pay homage and present their gifts to the palace.

The motive behind the killing of a market leader and traditional ruler, Pa Oriyomi Jacob Bamigbelu, an indigene of Ikorodu, still remains a mystery to his family members; a puzzle as confounding as it is difficult to unravel. Pa Oriyomi, a father of three, was until his murder on Thursday November 10, the secretary of the market association in Ebute and Ikorodu areas of Lagos State.

Dialogue and engagement have been the panacea prescribed for peace by most commentators on the protracted crisis in Plateau State. While there are those who assert that series of dialogues over the years have not achieved much because they fail to address the crux of the matter, peace and conflict management experts insist that dialogue must continue even if the results are not immediately evident.
