Nigeria needs N500bn to fix ailing roads – Onolememen

A whopping N500 billion would be required annually for the next four years to fix Nigerian ailing roads and bring them to sync with road infrastructure development in other thriving nations in the world. This was disclosed recently by the Minister of Works, Mr. Mike Onolememen.

‘No landlord has right to lock out tenant for non-payment of service charge’

DOes a landlord, his agents or caretaker have the legal right to lock out a tenant who has duly paid his rent on the ground that the tenant is yet to pay the service charge on the property? This is the issue agitating the mind of a Lagos-based Pentecostal Pastor whose church in a rented building, was sealed off last week by the landlord’s agent because it (church) has not yet paid the service charge.

Opposition mounts against Urban Development Law
